Before I was a wedding planner, I was a paramedic and an ocular hygienist. Years of staying calm under pressure, reading people quickly, and solving problems before anyone notices there was one. Those skills did not leave when I found my way to weddings, they just finally got a better dress code.
I am Kaela, the creative force behind Pink Tie Events. WPIC Certified, Canada's Top WPIC Finalist, and genuinely obsessed with this work in the best possible way. My background in classical piano performance, theatre, and acting means I have always seen weddings the way a director sees a production, every vendor, every timeline, every moving part choreographed so that what you and your guests experience is nothing but magic. The chaos stays behind the curtain. The memories do not.
I am your planner, your wedding coach, your hype girl, and the person who will know your vision better than you can articulate it. I stay constantly immersed in trends, education, and the industry because you deserve a planner who is always at the top of her game, not just experienced, but current, connected, and prepared for anything.

I am Jade, Pink Tie's Visual Identity expert and the person behind the aesthetics that make your wedding look and feel like you.
I studied fashion and design in Brazil, and that background shaped everything about how I see weddings, the colour stories, the visual flow, the details that most people do not consciously notice but absolutely feel. I bring that eye to every couple I work with, and I take it seriously. Your wedding should be visually cohesive, intentional, and stunning from the first invitation to the last table setting.
I am constantly immersed in what is current, trends, design innovation, the visuals that are setting the standard right now, because the couples who trust us deserve work that reflects the moment they're in, not something that felt fresh two years ago.
More than anything though, I genuinely love the people behind every wedding I touch. Making couples feel seen, celebrated, and completely obsessed with their own wedding aesthetic is why I do what I do.

Known for our elevated designs, seamless execution, and exceptional service, we create thoughtfully curated weddings that allow our couples to relax, celebrate, and experience every moment with confidence.
Working alongside your Lead Planner, our professional team is on-site the day before and/or on your wedding day to oversee logistics, manage details, support vendors, and ensure every element unfolds seamlessly from start to finish.
